About the Subject:
Hearty welcome to the Swasthavrutta & Yoga Department.The subject having magnitude for the sake of academic as well as clinical practice. This subject is prearranged to the 3rd year undergraduate students. Subject related with all prevention aspects, yoga therapy & naturopathy also. It includes dincharya, rutucharya, rasyan-vajikaran, ahar, ashtan yoga and yogasan. Subject also includes health, concept of disease & prevention of diseases communicable & non communicable. It also gives idea of air-water pollution, sewage disposal & bio medical waste management. Evaluation of the knowledge achieved by the students is done by conducting theory examination along with Viva.
About The Department:
Department is well equipped & structured. It has appropriate areation & adequate space for each accommodative faculty. Department includes OHP sheets, projection sheets, charts, projector. Also department have museum which includes models and specimens. Departmental library includes Ancient Samhita’s and Modern Books. Well-made charts of important concepts are integrated for the visual impact on students. Department has separate blackboard.
