About the Subject:
Hearty welcome to the RachanaSharir Department. The subject having magnitude for the sake of academic as well as clinical practice. This subject is prearranged to the 1styearundergraduate students. Subject corresponds to comprehensive study of human body.. Hence the syllabus includes the basic fundamental knowledge ShadangSharir. According to Ayurvedic texts as well as Modern Science. Subject also includes different kinds of learning techiniques like dissection with practicals.
About The Department:
Department is well equipped & structured. It has appropriate aeration & adequate space for each accommodative faculty. Department includes dissection tables with dissection kit, cadaver preservation room with embalming machine, bone sets, X-ray films, projection sheets, charts, instruments, lab, chemicals, different type’s microscope, with histology slides. Also department have museum which includes models and human organ specimens.Departmental library includes Ancient Samhita’s and Modern anatomy Books. Well-made charts of important concepts are integrated for the visual impact on students.

Vision:
To study the comprehensive knowledge of Sharir
Mission:
1. RachanaSharir UG student will have comprehensive knowledge of Ayurved and Modern Anatomy in order to enable them to achive complete understanding of clinical as well as surgical aspect of the disease in practice.
2. Ability to work as individual and member of multidiciplinary team during cadaveric dissection and surgical procedure .
3. Understand the meaning and application of the social determinants of health and their implication for the health care needs of individuals, families and communities.
Course conclusions : UG
1. Knowledge capability (understanding the general principles, terminologies & basic concepts of Ayurvedic and Modern Anatomy which will serve as a foundation for the knowledge of Human Anatomy).
2. Surgical skill development (with the help of Cadaveric dissection).
3. Professional application of the knowledge for Diagnostic purpose (with the help of Surface marking & Radiological anatomy).
4. Correlate the basic principles & terminologies of RachanaSharir with Modern human anatomy.
5. Apply the basic knowledge and modern techniques (like Plastination, Mounting technology) for the preparation of various specimens.
