About the Subject:
Welcome to Shalakyatantra Department .The Subject having magnitude for the sake of academic as well as clinical practice. Shalakyatantra is Superspeciality including Karn-Nasa-Shiroroga & Netraroga. Shalakyatantra included in final yr(4th yr )syllabus .Subject includes Anatomy ,physiology of Kaen ,Nasa ,Netra (Ayurvedic as well as modern aspects) & pathology of karn ,nasa , Shirorog ,Netrarog (Ayurvedic as well as modern aspects).Subject also includes Different examination techniques Eg. Darkroom procedures like Fundoscopy ,Retinoscopy ,Slit lamp examination ,Visual acuity testing (for both Near & Distance).Evaluation of Knowledge achieved by the students is done by conducting theory & practical examination along with the viva.

Department is well equipped & structured with appropriate ventilation & adequate space for each accommodative faculty .Department is facilitated with Instruments ,Charts ,Departmental library includes Ancient Samhitas & modern books ,Blackboard ,Computer .
